One of the true banners of success is your relationships with your family and friends. Some one who knows that someone is only a phone call away if they have a need is a truely blessed person! Many people measure wealth in dollars and cents, but true wealth can not be bought in any store. Value and nurture those relationships, they are more precious than gold.

I am fabuluous and this changed my life. I decided to figure out how I needed to feel to be successful. I then chose one powerful positive word that embodied all of those things, which for me was fabulous! Whenever someone says “How are you?” and I reply “I am fabulous!” it helps me to mentally and emotionally buy into it. Give it a try in your life!
Black Friday…
It is Black Friday, the official start to the holiday season of commercialism. There are still some of us that are not out there in the frenzied madness that can effectively kill the true spirit of Christmas. Instead of the frenzied rush for sales why not adopt a troop of soldiers or donate food or time to a shelter? You will most definately end up with a bigger gift… that feeling is worth a million words!

I am thankful today for faith, family, and friends and the love from and for them. These are the true banners of success and I thank God and my parents for showing me the importance of them early on in life and for reinforcing that lesson throughout my life. Today is Thanksgiving, so if you know some one who is going to be alone, invite them to your table and show them the light- the truth- the way. If God has blessed you- pass it on!

I am thankful for all of the people over the years who have touched my life and allowed me to touch theirs! You never know what an impact a few kind words can have on a person who is having a rough go of things, or just reminding someone that you love them.As I walk out of the house this morning I am taking along a smile to share with every person I meet and hopefully they will then share it with others.

I am thankful for my husband Dan. We have been married over 29 years. Although he had a busy day on his plate he still took the time to check my car because one of the lights came on yesterday. It may not seem like a big deal, but that is what love is. Caring enough to take the time to ease my mind. Many of us forget to stop and be thankful for folks that take the time to show us they care.

I am so very thankful for my beautiful home. I could wax on poetically to describe it’s size, location, and appearance, but what makes it so beautiful is the love that abounds within it’s walls. The love of family, friends, and yes pets. Many a good time has been had in these walls and you can feel the love when you enter.

In keeping with my week long attitude of gratitude I am thankful for the air I breathe. I am thankful that I live in such a great country that is truely the land of opportunity. Many places around the world dictate what you can or cannot do, where you can go and when. Many times we take these things for granted when in fact we should be celebrating them every day!
